Together with Carlos he is responsible for maintaining the building in its original state. Carlos and Juan have seen, the majority of the people living in the building, grow up from baby to adult. How is life as a doormen in Belgrano, Buenos Aires? Juan told us how it all started. Also he told us the moment of the crisis, back in ’89. He couldn’t find a job. That was the reason for him to start working as a doormen.
Juan works in the same building for over 25 years. At the end of the interview when we asked him what his dream was he said: ‘I don’t have a particular dream. I already did everything in life I wanted…’
